Here are FOUR to choose from

I love and I hate commitment.

I love and I hate commitment.

But, alas, committing in advance to stuff which I know is good for me is the ultimate game-changer. In the past, my tendency was to postpone, bail, cancel. Over the last 15 years, I’ve successfully shifted my mindset around commitment, in spite of my tendency to be non-committal.

For this week’s blog, I’m talking about tendency.

And, while we’re at it, wanna commit to one of these upcoming offerings from The MoMentum? You’ll feel better that you did.

Those who know me well know that I’ve never had a shortage of ideas or motivation to do something.

But the follow-through is really where the rubber hits the road.

And this commitment piece has really made all the difference in growing my vision over the last year.

One central piece which has helped me move beyond my resistance to commitment is learning about my tendency.

According to Gretchen Rubin, author of The Four Tendencies, these are the four categories where people often fall.

What category do you identify with most?

Knowing more about who I am and how I thrive has helped me better honour my commitments. You can take Rubin’s quiz here to learn which tendency you are.

Oh, and if you were curious, I’m an Obliger/Rebel.
