that inside voice

No judgment but, I have a question for you:

At this moment, is your mind thinking positive or negative thoughts?

Are you even aware of what you are telling yourself most of the time?

Whether we like to admit it or not, many of us almost always have some version of inside voice constantly on heavy rotation. And – it’s not always a very nice inside voice.

Maybe you have a quiet thought loop playing one of these:

Cmon, hurry up, there’s not enough time.

You don’t have what it takes to get what you want.

Or maybe there’s just an ongoing sensation of tension in your upper abdomen, like a mild vice grip.

Oh, how I shutter as I recall the harsh thinking I used to bring to exams, job interviews, big work presentations, even first dates!

The thought cycle was always the same:

I have to prove to them that I’m good enough.

I don’t have what it takes to succeed.

And, then there was the constant one for me: I’m not prepared enough.

Though I wasn’t aware of it, my headspace back then was often in a negative thought cycle.

So, no judgment but - are you aware of what you are telling yourself most of the time?

Those negative thoughts/sensations come from the survival part of our brain to keep us safe.  While there’s no sabre-toothed tiger ‘round the corner, the unskilled part of our brain still operates with this habitual fear--

--unless we override it and switch to the evolved “executive functioning” part of our brain.

I am hosting a workshop next week to help you flip that switch:

Together, we will:

· Notice and intercept the negative thinking loops which sabotage your happiness, performance, relationships

· Access the positive part of your mind so that you can experience relief from negativity and make space for deeper fulfillment, connection and purpose in all areas of life

· Learn and practice a set of simple research-backed exercises to keep you in a state of ease and flow

As many of you know - this is my jam.

I myself have rewired my own limiting thinking and shifted into a place of much more abundance in my life, work, wellbeing, relationships.  And, I’ve coached hundreds of others to create the same transformation in their lives.

Life is too short to be spent in a negative feedback loop - yet so many of us feel powerless over it.

If you want to learn how to shift even 10% of your negative self-talk into 10% greater effectiveness, ease, self-compassion - I’m here to help you do that.

I help purpose-driven individuals move beyond limiting thinking (aka impostor syndrome) so that they can have maximum impact in their work without sacrificing their other priorities of wellbeing and family.
